So! I met Olivia on a beautiful early spring day. You can't tell from the photos, but it was so cold! She was awesome and didn't even feel it. As much as I love taking the photos, I also love getting to know these people I get to photograph. Even for an hour or two, hearing about their lives and learning their stories is so amazing. I feel privileged. These connections are what fuel me!

About Olivia. You know that tired old saying "the world is your oyster" that all these kids see on cheesy graduation cards this time of year? Well, that old saying applies to Olivia 100%. This girl is so smart. She is obviously beautiful. She's got goals and knows where she wants to go in life. She is kind and sweet and loves her mom. And I have total hair envy.
